Canadians in London
Mark Sultana is the Founder and Managing Director of Canadians in London, a community, relocation and events platform helping Canadians move, settle and connect in London and across the UK.
What began as a community project has grown into a practical Canadian hub, supporting people through one of life’s biggest transitions with useful content, trusted partner introductions, real-world events and community support across areas such as banking, tax, currency, healthcare, visas, property, relocation, jobs and cultural life.
Mark’s work sits at the intersection of community building, media, events, partnerships and practical expat support. Through CIL, he has helped thousands of Canadians connect with the information, people and organisations that can make life abroad easier to navigate.
He has also been a regular media contributor for more than a decade, appearing on TV and radio to share insight on issues affecting Canadians living overseas.
Building on the community and cultural work of CIL, Mark is also developing Canada Spirit, a platform designed to showcase Canadian producers, products and stories in the UK, creating more opportunities for Canadian brands to be discovered while giving Canadians and friends of Canada a stronger taste of home abroad.

Amanda Baker
Canadians in London
Amanda Baker is part of the Canadians in London team, supporting events, hosting and community engagement. A professional international tour guide, Amanda has led groups to destinations around the world and brings warmth, confidence and infectious energy to everything she does. With an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from UBC, she combines global experience with a genuine passion for helping Canadians feel connected in London.

Stephanie Hoi
Canadians in London
Stephanie Hoi is part of the Canadians in London team, supporting coaching initiatives, mindset workshops and community growth.
Having built lives across Peru, the United States, China, Canada and now the UK, Stephanie understands first-hand the mindset shifts that come with immigration, reinvention and starting again in a new country.
A Certified Leadership Coach, yoga teacher and holder of a double Bachelor’s degree in Business, Stephanie brings together more than a decade of international experience with a holistic approach to strategy, mindset and somatic movement.
Through her work, she helps clients navigate major life transitions, cut through the noise, reconnect with themselves and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Stephanie brings intuitive insight, calm energy and a genuine passion for helping expats feel grounded, supported and ready to thrive in London.

Taylor Cavanagh
Canadians in London
Taylor supports the Canadians in London events team, working closely with Amanda and Steph to help bring our community gatherings to life.
With a background in hospitality, customer service and education support, Taylor brings a calm, organised and friendly presence to CIL events. Her experience as a café supervisor gave her hands-on skills in communication, staff coordination, customer care and day-to-day operations, while her previous work supporting children and young people with disabilities strengthened her planning, patience and problem-solving abilities.
A recent Environmental Studies graduate with a passion for people and community, Taylor helps ensure guests feel welcome, supported and part of the wider Canadians in London family.

Jonathan leads the Events Catering team for Canadians in London and is a key part of the Poutinerie London and Poutine Social team.
With years of experience in pubs, restaurants and hospitality operations, Jonathan understands what it takes to make busy venues run properly. As a founding partner of Yellow Panda Pub Co., he has been closely involved in the running and development of hospitality venues across London, bringing a practical knowledge of kitchens, teams, suppliers, service and event logistics.
At CIL, Jonathan is one of the people making sure our food-led events work behind the scenes. From poutine socials and Canadian community nights to larger fan zones and partner events, he helps coordinate the catering, venue operations and hospitality details that guests may not always see — but definitely feel when everything runs smoothly.
His experience, calm approach and deep knowledge of London’s pub scene make him an essential part of the CIL events team.

John Sleeman
Sleeman Brewery
John Sleeman, founder of Sleeman Brewery and a recipient of the Order of Canada, has been an important friend and supporter of Canadians in London for many years.
For over ten years, Canadians in London has proudly supported Sleeman’s UK presence, from Canadian celebrations in Trafalgar Square to Poutinerie London, Poutine Socials, fan zones and wider community events. Working closely with John and his team of Canadian beer ambassadors, we have helped bring one of Canada’s most recognisable beer names to Canadians and friends of Canada living in London.
We are also delighted to now be working with John’s son, Cooper Sleeman, who is carrying the family’s hospitality and drinks legacy forward through the new distillery in Guelph. Cooper will also be part of Canada Spirit, helping us showcase the next generation of Canadian producers, drinks and stories to audiences in the UK.
That sense of heritage, continuity and Canadian pride makes Sleeman a natural part of the CIL experience - served alongside poutine, shared at community gatherings and raised in support of Team Canada.
